I am Mick Phillips, an Ashe County Native. Growing up in the NC Mountains, I have enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of this area since childhood. I am a graduate of the former Beaver Creek High School. My wife, Sherrie, is also from Ashe and taught school here for over 30 years. We have two children, Emily and Sam, which are both currently in college.
I am a graduate of Gardner Webb University. I have been in the Real Estate profession since 2001. I am a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, the highest level of license issued by the NC Appraisal Board. I started Parkway Appraisals in 2009 and currently service Ashe, Alleghany, Avery, Watauga, and Wilkes Counties in NC and Grayson County, VA. Prior to my Real Estate Career I spent 15 years with UPS holding various management positions.
My activities in the community include being a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church and a past member and past president of The Jefferson’s Rotary Club. I enjoy many outdoor activities.
I am very knowledgeable of the NC High Country market and would be pleased to help you with your real estate valuation needs.
